Power off virtual machine
edit settings of virtual machine
click vm options tab
expand advanced
next to configuration parameters click edit configuration
add the following
isolation.tools.copy.disable FALSE
isolation.tools.paste.disable FALSE
isolation.tools.SetGUIOptions.enable TRUE
Click ok and power on virtual machine
