So I have two datacenters, one for vcenter.vmware.local and one for vcenter-vsan1.vmware.local. I have deployed vrni into the first datacenter via vrslcm. Now to be able to deploy a remote collector into the second datacenter in vrslcm the vcenter need to be added to the same datacenter in vrslcm. This will give you the option in vrslcm when you add a component. It will deploy vrni collector with the existing deployed vrni cluster in datacenter1. Will give you a second vcenter to select from in datacenter 2. See the below picture

Go to your environments in vrslcm

Click view details.

Under VMware Aria Operations for networks click add components

Trigger an inventory sync and click proceed

You can see that you have both vCenters available to deploy too

Select site 2 vCenter

Select datacenter

Select folder

Select network

Select datastore

Select thin

Click next

Type in a domain name

Type in domain search path

Select or add your dns server

Select or add your ntp server

Type in the default gateway

Type in the subnet mask

Click next

Select take product snapshot if you haven’t done one already.

Click the plus sign and click VMware Aria Operations for networks collector.

Type in the details of the new collector

VM name

Ip address

Size is selected by default.

Click next.

Run precheck

Click next if happy
